If you have seen the Essie Gang movement online you would have seen the name L3 all over your phone screens! L3 is next in line and we cannot wait to see what he has in store. After releasing his jumpy song 'Crash The Coupe' L3 known as Leon has not disappointed. He has gone on to release songs with Daniel OG and his latest banger 'Ultimate'. We managed to catch up with L3 down at the N-studio headquarters, we spoke about his highlights of the year so far and what he in store next.

Hi it’s L3.

What has been your top 3 highlights of the year so far?

They would have to be opening up for my boy Octavian's headline show, that was crazy. Releasing my new single Ultimate, the video was recorded with a heat camera which created the whole effect and look of the video. And lastly bringing new faces into the L3 camp, I'm excited about this one as I cannot wait to see what the rest of the year holds for me.

How would you describe your sound to those who haven’t heard you?

I would say my style is very different. It’s either you like or you don’t.

What’s the meaning behind your name?

The name L3 is from name Leon and my private plate had L3 on it and the mandem started calling me it.
